The Traditional Tunisian and American Immigrants’ outfits

Access students celebrating the Traditional Tunisian and American Immigrants’ outfits

Access students at Schooling Plus celebrated the Traditional Outfits Day on March 20 in a very creative manner. They put on some of the Traditional Tunisian outfits and did a fashion show.

They even visited the Old Medina and some other old places in Sfax. They had fun and sang some of their own songs downtown.

Some of the IT club students collected the photos they took during that event and wanted to make a video about Traditional Tunisian and American Immigrants’ Outfits.

Saint Patrick’s Day

In celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, Access students were introduced to the origins of this celebration and how it was integrated in the American culture.

Women’s history Month

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the teacher put the spotlight on the contributions of women in history by honoring the pioneers who made major advances in civil rights, women’s suffrage, racial equality, environmental justice, reproductive rights, and much, much more. Access students watched a movie about Mallala and had a fruitful discussion about the importance of equality between men and women. They deduced that race and gender discrimination  should be eradicated from the world. They even did a Scavenger Hunt about the most influential Women leaders’ successful stories in American History as Michelle Obama, Operah Winfrey, Susan B. Anthony, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Rosa Park who  had a powerful impact on women’s history and inspired others to achieve something in history for women.
